CalcTimer

Free online tools that run in your browser

114 tools that run entirely in your browser. Nothing to install, no account, and the values you type and the files you open never leave your device.

🕐 Clocks 7

Check what time it is in another city, or work out the gap before you propose a meeting slot. Each clock is calculated from a standard time zone name rather than a fixed offset, so daylight saving changes are handled for you.

⏱️ Timers 9

Time cooking, study blocks and workouts. The Pomodoro timer alternates 25 minutes of focus with a 5-minute break, and the interval timer repeats work and rest for as many rounds as you set.

🎲 Random 16

For the decisions not worth arguing over. Draw a name, split teams, spin a wheel, flip a coin or build a bracket, with every draw kept in a numbered list so you can look back at what came up.

📄 PDF Tools 4

Merge, split and rotate PDFs, drop pages you do not need, or turn a folder of images into one file. Files are read on your own device and never uploaded, which matters for contracts and scanned documents.

🖼️ Image Tools 5

Compress, resize, crop and convert images, and blur every face in a photo automatically. Batches of photos are handled in one pass. As with the PDF tools, nothing is uploaded, so a large photo is limited by your device rather than your connection.

💻 Developer Tools 3

Build CSS gradients and box shadows while watching the result, and pretty-print JSON that arrived as one long line. Copy the generated code straight out.

📋 Text Tools 16

Count characters, strip extra spaces and line breaks, drop duplicate lines and sort what is left. The meta description length checker and hashtag generator are here for anything you are about to publish.

🇰🇷 Korea 10

Answers for things you only run into with Korean. Write your name in Hangul, read a price in won, pick between 은 and 는, find the right counter word, and convert Korean clothing and shoe sizes. Every page shows the pronunciation in plain English spelling.

Your data stays on your device

Every tool runs in the browser. A salary you type into a calculator and a contract you open in the PDF tools are processed on your own machine and only the result is drawn on screen. There is no sign-up, so no name or email is collected either.

Favourites, the large-text setting and the history lists kept by timers and pickers live in your browser's own storage. They come back when you return on the same device, are invisible on any other, and disappear when you clear the history.

Where to start, by situation

If you are not sure which tool you want, work from the situation instead. The sidebar search also matches partial names, so typing 'pomodoro' or 'won' gets you there.

Add it to your home screen

Putting CalcTimer on your home screen opens it with one tap instead of typing the address. It launches full screen with no address bar or tabs, and any tool you have opened once still opens when you are offline.

On Android, holding the icon brings up shortcuts straight to the timer, the stopwatch, the world clock and the Korean name writer. Nothing is downloaded, and removing the icon removes it completely.

DeviceHow
iPhone / iPad (Safari)Share button at the bottom, then Add to Home Screen, then Add
Android (Chrome)Three dots at top right, then Add to Home screen. The button above does the same when it appears
Android (Samsung Internet)Menu at the bottom, then Add page to, then Home screen
Desktop (Chrome / Edge)The install icon at the right end of the address bar, then Install

Safari only offers this through its share menu, so the button does not appear there.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account?

No. Open the page and the tool works. There is no sign-up step at all, and no name or email address is collected.

Is what I type sent anywhere?

No. Calculations and conversions happen in your browser and the values are never transmitted. Anything that persists, such as favourites or a draw history, is written only to your browser's local storage.

What happens to PDFs and images I open?

They are never uploaded. The PDF and image tools read the file on your device, do the work there, and build the result locally, so contracts and scanned IDs stay with you.

Which tools are specific to Korea?

The Korea section covers Hangul names, Korean numbers and money, particles, counter words, dates and times, clothing and shoe sizes, school grades and cooking measures. Everything else works anywhere.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. The layout adapts to the screen and no features are dropped. Timers and alarms need the tab to stay open to make a sound.

Can I put a tool on my own site?

Embed codes are offered on the Korean edition of each tool page. If you need one for an English page, use the contact address on the About page and say which tool.
