Rotate PDF Online

Rotate all pages of a PDF to the angle you need. Files are processed in your browser and never uploaded.

How to use the Rotate PDF Online

  1. Choose your PDF with the file picker; the file is read into the page and never uploaded.
  2. Pick the turn you need: 90 degrees clockwise, 180 degrees, or 90 degrees counter-clockwise.
  3. Press the rotate button; the status line reads Processing, then Done.
  4. The rotated copy downloads as rotated.pdf, leaving the file on your disk untouched.

The turn is added to what the page already had

Each page carries its own rotation value and your choice is added to it rather than replacing it. Two runs at 90 degrees equal one at 180, so a wrong turn only means running the download through again.

Nothing is uploaded and the text stays text

The PDF is opened inside the browser tab, so no copy reaches a server. Rotating sets a flag on each page instead of redrawing it, so text stays selectable and images are not re-compressed.

Frequently asked questions

Can I rotate only some pages?

No. Every page gets the same turn. Pages do keep their relative angles, since the turn is added to the rotation each page already had.

My scan came out upside down.

Choose 180 degrees to flip it the right way up.

Are my files uploaded?

No. All processing happens in your browser.

Does rotating a PDF reduce its quality?

No. Only the rotation value changes, so the text and images are left exactly as they were, with no re-encoding.

Where does the rotated file go?

To your usual downloads folder, saved as rotated.pdf. The original file on your disk is not modified.

Can I rotate a password-protected PDF?

No. An encrypted file cannot be opened here, so the status line reports an error instead of a download.
