âąď¸ Timers, Stopwatches and Alarms
Timers built for specific jobs: cooking, workouts, focus sessions and sleep. Everything runs in the browser with nothing to install, and the countdown stays accurate even when the tab is in the background.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a timer, a stopwatch and an alarm?
A timer counts down to zero, a stopwatch counts up from zero, and an alarm rings at a specific clock time. Use a timer for cooking, a stopwatch for laps, an alarm for a 3:20 meeting.
Does the timer stay accurate in a background tab?
Yes. It calculates from the end time rather than subtracting one second at a time, so switching tabs or letting the screen sleep does not make it drift.
Why is the Pomodoro interval 25 minutes?
Francesco Cirillo built the method around a tomato-shaped kitchen timer set to 25 minutes of focus followed by a 5-minute break.
Will the timer keep running if I close the tab?
No. Closing the tab or window stops it. A refresh, however, restores the remaining time.
