CalcTimer

QR Code Generator

Enter text or a URL to generate a QR code. Once created, it works forever with no expiry.

✅ This QR code never expires — your content is stored inside the code itself, so it reads instantly even with no internet connection.

Where your text goes

This page is the one tool on the site that talks to an outside service. The code you see is drawn by an external QR renderer, and the text or link you type is sent to it as part of the request. Everything else on CalcTimer runs entirely in your browser.

For a Wi-Fi password, a private document link or anything else you would not paste into a stranger's address bar, use a generator that runs offline.

Frequently asked questions

How do I save the QR code?

Right-click the image and save it, or long-press on mobile.

Does it handle non-Latin text?

Yes, any text encodes correctly.

How long does the code stay valid?

Forever. Your text or URL is stored inside the code itself, so a scanner reads it directly with no server lookup in between.

Then why do some QR codes expire?

Dynamic QR services put their own redirect address in the code instead of your destination. If that company shuts down or you stop paying, the redirect breaks and the code stops working. Codes generated here contain your data directly, so there is nothing to expire.

Is my text sent anywhere?

Yes, to draw the image. Unlike the other tools here, this one asks an outside QR service to render the code, so whatever you type is sent to that service in the request. Do not put passwords, private links or personal details into it.

Why not generate it in the browser?

The image comes from an outside renderer rather than local code. That is why this page needs a connection and the others do not. If the content is sensitive, use an offline generator instead.
