Delete Pages from PDF Online
Choose the pages to delete and download the result. Files are processed in your browser and never uploaded.
How to use the Delete Pages from PDF Online
- Choose the PDF. The page count appears once it is read, and the file stays on your device.
- Type the pages to drop, with commas for single pages and hyphens for ranges, such as 2,4-5.
- Press the remove button. A new file downloads as removed-pages.pdf with those pages gone.
How your page list is read
The text is split on commas, and each piece is either one page number or a low-to-high range. Numbers outside the document are ignored, repeats collapse into one, and a backwards range matches nothing. An empty list, or one covering every page, stops the download.
| What you type | Pages removed |
|---|---|
| 3 | page 3 |
| 2,5 | pages 2 and 5 |
| 4-6 | pages 4, 5 and 6 |
| 2,4-5 | pages 2, 4 and 5 |
| 6-4 | nothing; put the lower number first |
What carries over into the new file
The pages you keep are copied into a newly created document in their original order, so content, page size and rotation come with them. Document-level extras are not rebuilt, so bookmarks are dropped. A password-locked PDF cannot be opened at all.
Frequently asked questions
How do I specify pages?
Use commas for individual pages and hyphens for ranges. For example, 2,4-5 removes page 2 and pages 4 through 5.
Are my files uploaded?
No. All processing happens in your browser.
Is the original file changed?
No. A new file is downloaded and your original stays untouched.
How do I find the right page numbers?
Use the numbers your PDF viewer shows, counting the first page as 1. The panel reports the total page count once your file loads.
Can I keep just a few pages instead?
List everything else as the pages to remove. There is no keep-these-pages mode, so in a 10-page file where you want pages 3 and 4, type 1-2,5-10.
Is there a file size limit?
No fixed limit is set, but the whole PDF is held in your browser's memory, so very large files depend on your device. If nothing downloads, try a smaller one.
